Effect of Rotation Speed on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Continuous Drive Friction Welded Dissimilar Joints of 6061-T6 Al and Copper

چکیده

The continuous drive friction welding of 6061-T6 Al and copper was investigated herein. results show that with an increase in rotation speed, the width welded zone gradually increased generation higher temperatures, grain size dynamic recrystallization on side first decreased then due to combined effect heat force. microhardness bonding surface significantly greater than base materials presence intermetallic compounds, there a softening both sides surface, which progressively more significant speed. ultimate tensile strength (UTS) joints When speed 1000 rpm, UTS at its peak value 212 MPa, reached 73.1% material.
